Managing Director
Alvin Alabaso, M.Ed., BCBA, LBA is an educator and behavior analyst with over 15 years of experience in special education, psychology, and applied behavior analysis, with the majority of his professional experience gained in Singapore and the United States. He holds a Master of Education in Special Education from Grand Canyon University and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Special Education at the University of Arizona as a recipient of a U.S. Department of Education Office of Special Education Programs grant. With extensive experience as an international educator, Alvin understands both the opportunities and challenges of pursuing a career abroad. Through EAG, he is committed to supporting and guiding educators pursuing international teaching opportunities through mentorship, advocacy, and practical support. Drawing from his own journey and background in psychology, Alvin strives to provide meaningful guidance, encouragement, and support to educators navigating international pathways.
Director of Operations & Finance
With over 20 years of experience in education here and abroad. She has dedicated her career to supporting students, teachers, and educational communities both locally and internationally. As a former J-1 international teacher who later became a U.S. citizen, she brings firsthand understanding of the opportunities, challenges, and life-changing experiences international educators face when pursuing teaching careers in the United States. Throughout her J-1 teaching career in Douglas, she worked closely with diverse student populations while building strong relationships with fellow educators, administrators, and international teachers adjusting to life and work in the U.S.Her personal journey allows her to deeply understand the transition process, cultural adaptation, and professional growth international teachers experience. At EAG, she helps lead international educator recruitment, teacher mentorship, partnership development, and support services for educators seeking opportunities abroad. She is committed to guiding teachers through every step of their journey and helping them build successful and meaningful careers in education. She is passionate about empowering educators, creating opportunities for professional growth, and helping teachers feel supported as they pursue their dreams internationally.
Director of Partnerships & Visa Services
With over 11 years of experience in Mathematics education, Grace Lacubtan has dedicated her career to helping students and educators grow through meaningful learning and strong relationships. A graduate of Xavier University – Ateneo de Cagayan with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education in Mathematics, she has been recognized through eight consecutive Teacher of the Year nominations and a nomination for the Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics & Science Teaching in 2024.
Through her international work experience in Singapore and years of teaching in the United States, she understands the challenges and opportunities educators face when transitioning into new educational systems and cultures. Her experience has allowed her to support and mentor teachers as they adapt to American classrooms and grow professionally.
As the Director of Partnerships and Visa Services, she helps support international educator recruitment, teacher transition, partnership development, and visa guidance for educators pursuing opportunities in the United States. She is passionate about helping educators gain valuable exposure to the American educational system while equipping them with experiences and practices they can use to create meaningful impact in their own communities and future classrooms.
Director of Recruitment
A 2026 Teacher of the Year awardee from Andrada Polytechnic High School under the Vail Unified School District, he brings 16 years of professional experience in mathematics education and has dedicated his career to supporting student growth across diverse learning environments. His journey includes 8 years of teaching internationally in Micronesia and participation in the J-1 Teacher Exchange Program from 2021 to 2026, experiences that strengthened his passion for global education and cultural exchange. In addition to his work in the classroom, he actively mentors aspiring educators who are interested in pursuing opportunities through the J-1 Teacher Exchange Program. He believes that teachers play a vital role in shaping future generations, and that empowering educators with guidance, inspiration, and meaningful support creates stronger classrooms, more successful students, and lasting impact within communities.
